2008 U.S. election data

According to the Census Bureau's 2008 U.S. election data, the state of Minnesota and the District of Columbia recorded the highest voter turnout, each with voting rates of about 75%. Hawaii and Utah were among the states with the lowest turnouts, each with approximately 52%. By sex, women had a higher voting rate (66%) than males (62%).
